Deen Castronovo

What Hendrix, Van Halen and Ywngwie were to modern guitar Deen is to drums. Deen was born on August 17, 1965 in Westminster, California. Deen discovered the drums at age five and played his way through a long list of highly acclaimed bands. Deen has played on a staggering number of releases and has gone on to back many arena acts including Bad English, Hardline, Ozzy Osborne, Steve Vai, Wild Dogs, Paul Rodgers and many more. Currently he is with Journey who has been out on the road for a while and sounding better than they ever did.

Ben Bilello

At the age of fourteen Ben received his first drum set. Ben spent hour upon hour in his basement learning Led Zeppelin songs. One day Ben’s sister left the album “When Harry Met Sally,” by Harry Connick, Jr., on the kitchen table. He listened to a song called “Stompin’ at the Savoy” and fell instantly in love with jazz music. In 1997, Ben won the Hartt Award of Excellence in Jazz Studies and subsequently graduated cum laude from Hartt school of music with a BM in Jazz Studies. As one of the most in demand freelance jazz drummers in New England, Ben can be seen at numerous clubs, concert halls and festivals with a wide variety of artists such as the Kris Allen Quartet, trombonist Steve Davis, and with the Charles Flores Quartet, as well as many others, too numerous to mention.

Steve Toomey

While not totally clear when or how Steve (a NorCal native) found his calling as a drummer one thing is known for sure, he lives it. Every waking moment of his life revolves around his passion for drumming. A self taught drummer, Steve cites his biggest musical influences as Led Zeppelin and Parliament which explains his heavy hitting yet funky style.  Over the years Steve has performed and recorded with numerous artists including Bob Harp, Lowly, and more.  Currently Steve can be seen breaking the boundaries of acoustic rock drumming (as well as quite a few sticks!) with Sonoma County favorites, the Pat Jordan Band.

Vic Carberry

As versatile a drummer as they come, Vic has been a highly sought after musician for over 25 years.  Although the list of artists Vic has performed with is too long to list here, a few of the highlights include Tommy Tutone, Solid Air and Pinocchio Vampire.  From his studies with Dave Garibaldi to his MTV debut in the “867-5309 Jenny” Tommy Tutone video, Vic has shown his ability to adapt to any playing situation and execute flawlessly.
